Vigan City 2015

It has been five to seven years since we went to Vigan so last February, my family and I decided to explore the city once again.  First stop was St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. We didn’t stay there that long since we wanted to take time to explore Calle Crisologo.
“The church as it stands now was completed in 1800. The original structure was built in 1574 upon the command of the Spanish founder of Vigan, Juan de Salcedo.”

Then we ate at Cafe Leona for lunch. It was named after Jose Rizal’s cousin, Leona Florentino. The food was great but a little pricey. If you happen to visit Vigan, don’t forget to try their famous Bagnet. Maaaan, it’s awesome.

This photo somehow reminds me of a Greek village....?

Then we went to Fort Ilocandia after but that’s for another post. I hope you guys had a great week!
