Baler 2015 Photo Diary + Vlog

"The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea."
- Isak Dinesen

Last June, our family went to Baler, Aurora for five days. We really had a great time here. Anyway, here's a photo diary and a vlog of our stay. Hope you enjoy! :)

I am that wave from afar
The one you're anticipating for
And when you try to catch the current
I make you hope
I make you excited
Because when I reach the shore
I pull back

5:42 am. Woke up extra early to watch the beautiful sunrise.

Please watch in HD! :)

Vigan City 2015

It has been five to seven years since we went to Vigan so last February, my family and I decided to explore the city once again.  First stop was St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. We didn’t stay there that long since we wanted to take time to explore Calle Crisologo.
“The church as it stands now was completed in 1800. The original structure was built in 1574 upon the command of the Spanish founder of Vigan, Juan de Salcedo.”

Then we ate at Cafe Leona for lunch. It was named after Jose Rizal’s cousin, Leona Florentino. The food was great but a little pricey. If you happen to visit Vigan, don’t forget to try their famous Bagnet. Maaaan, it’s awesome.

This photo somehow reminds me of a Greek village....?

Then we went to Fort Ilocandia after but that’s for another post. I hope you guys had a great week!
